Im 24 male suffering from synovitis. Currently i am undergoing conventional treatment whereby i am given methotrexate 10mg weekly.
Well, i hope that you people are familiar with "synovitis". Its a condition most commonly associated with Rheumatoid arthritis but is not exclusive to it and can occur independently. In it the synovial membrane (that is the lining of the joints) gets inflammed. And as a consequence results in pain and joint degeneration. I must add here that my RA factor is negative and thus i dont have Rheumatoid arthritis.
It is VERY different from common joint problems where something wrong with the joints causes the pain and damage. And therefore it needs to be tackled differently. Methotrexate is one drug that can effectively curb abnormal cell growth which is the major cause of synovial inflammation. However, like any other drug it has many side effects. In my case it has raised my SGPT/ALT level to 170 and therefore my doctor has stopped me from taking it for the next 2 weeks and resume if a retest brings it down.
It is due to this that i am looking for a homeopathic medicine that can achieve the same result but without the side effects.
I might add here that i have a chronic liver problem as well. Some 4-5 yrs ago i was diagnosed with a fatty liver and eversince then i have had high SGPT/ALT Levels (like 170). My other liver tests are perfectly normal. My doctor says that i have NASH (Non alcholic staetohepatitis). Also i have high uric acid levels (in the 6-8 range). I also have very high cholesterol levels (last time i checked my total cholesterol was 235, hdl 41 and ldl 160). They are always on the higher side.
I have been fat eversince childhood. Currently on a 5 '10 frame i weigh 210 pounds. My waist is 42.
In addition to the homeopathic cure for synovitis i am also looking for some homeopathic medicine(s) that help me lower my SGPT, Uric acid and cholesterol levels. And also help me lose excess weight safely.
You may have to search for a "homeopathic doc" in your area, as you have quite a few specific problems to tackle. More than likely this is why you haven't gotten a response to your post for help, as there are so many issues for you to deal with. There are online homeopathic places to go where you can address your symtoms and your mind state, homeopathic's deal with your state of mind a lot, they will want to know just about everything you think and feel along with your symtoms and what the conventional doctors have found out. You will have to do a search on ****** and see what you can come up with if you choose to do it online. Or find a homeopathic doctor in your area. If money is a really big issue I'd try online first. Just remember if you start homeopathy remidies to be patient and to document everything from feeling to symtoms as this is what they go by. It does take some trial and error and patience. Good luck to you. Hope this has helped.

Drs,
Thanks a lot for ur replies!
This Inositol seems to be a God send for me. It should take care of all my ailments except synovitis.
Do u have any idea where i can get this from? How much it costs?
In response to the cost of the Insoitol I did find it at a GNC store (vitamin store) ...It was a bit spendy, for the small bottle it was 60.00 and the bottle that was over double that size, it was around 80.00. If I were you, I'd go for the really big bottle and be faithful about taking it. If you consider going to the doctors even one time and paying for an appointment, well I guess this stuff is pretty reasonable.
I've put you on my subscription notice list so if you reply I'll know.
