royal maca

I recently visited a wholistic Doctor who recommended Maca for energy. I have heard of this herb for awhile but what I want to know is if anyone has used it or know anyone who has used it? I would like to know how it worked for you.

Re: royal maca

I have been taking it for about 3 months and yes it makes a huge difference in my energy. My afternoon sleepy time is gone! A bonus also is that it helps improve your libido. The stuff tastes terrible ( I use a powder) but well worth it. My eyes were always blod shot before since I have started taking maca they are nice and clear.

Re: royal maca

kjlm,
Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me how much maca you use daily and what times you use it. Do you blend the power in water? How long till you felt the effects?

Re: royal maca

Hello,

It must vary by individuals, because I tried it and it didn't do a thing for me.

Oh, not too much except that maca does not "replace" human hormones with plant-hormones or plant estrogens like black cohosh and other phyto estrogen herbs, but its action in the body nourishes and jogs the pituitary gland into producing your own bio identical human hormones and ends up raising not only estrogen, but also progesterone and testosterone hormones naturally.

It may change your hormonal balance......
