Lia813 Veteran Join Date: Apr 2004 Posts: 363	Altered taste. Does anyone know of anything I can take to eliminate an altered taste sensation. I have had this since having an esophagectomy for esophaeal cancer on March 9. Also now I am having chemo for colon cancer and I am sure that is keeping the altered taste thing going. I can hardly stand to eat as everything tastes awful or at least certainy not as it used to. My weight is plummeting thanks to this . Anybody have this problem? Lia
