Question Fever and Chills

Hello,
Twice the past year I have had fever and chills.I'm trying to break away from mainstream Western Medicine for a more natural means of healing. It has not been an easy thing for me to do.I've been taught when we run temperature with chills we have an infection that requires Antibiotics. At times they are a good thing to have on hand IF we really need them but I disagree with handing them out like candy.

It concerns me that I had a fever and chills but have no clue where I was sick there were no symptoms such as burning, pain or noticable blood when I urinated to indicate I had UTI or Kidney infection.I didn't have sore throat, cold, flu, headache or any other symptom that would determine the cause of my Ague.

What could have possibly caused me to run temp and chill.I did feel bad because fever and chills DO make one feel badly but like I said I couldn't put my finger on where/why.
