is paprika benficial particularly in any way? i have a lot of it because i love the stuff.

Ratboy,
I've heard of hot Paprika having high natural Aspirin type properties,Anti-bacterial and Antioxidant activity ..am not sure if this is the same as Paprika..Hot Paprika is derived from Hot Chili Peppers..

Paprikia contains Capsaicin with is suppose to be good for arthritis pain. I've read the Capsaicin is also good as an insect repellant.
