I haven't researched it yet; however, I know it to be a very concentrated sweetner full of calories and hard to digest so it can cause alot of weight gain and some people can't make enough of the enzymes to digest it and thus get stomach pain from it. It's called fructose intolerance (simular to lactose intolerance but newer and not as well known, can be mistaken for IBS). My daughter has it.
I wouldn't eat alot of it.
