Hi all!
I have posted on several boards while trying to heal myself from some issues that have not been taken care of via traditional medicine.
I have been sick for several months and off work since May on medical leave which runs out in a few weeks. I have seen many Doctors and a few Chiropractors with limited results.
I had developed vertigo, sinus/ear pressure and drainage. I have also been having trouble with severe fatigue and weekness/ numbness in my legs and feet. My right side is worse than my left. Also low back pain which was not supported by Cts and MRIs. After months of testing, the bad things have been ruled out. I also get occasional twitching in my extremities. My shoulders are sore, worse upon waking. Oh, and as a result I have been having fun with anxiety/depression from all of this, but it has become more tolerable over the past few mos.
I am going through TMJ treatment and recently had a sleep study which told me what the Dentist has been thinking since the beginning. The sleep study suggested that my legs and shoulders, and probably my jaw are in discomfort as a result of a problem in my lower back. This is causing them to think I'm sleeping, but not well. It is not really "restless legs" but something in my L-spine causing this. The TMJ treatment is supposed to help with my sinuses, as they are all related.
I was told to load up on B complex, magnesium/calcium as well as fish oil. After reading some and looking at the boards it makes sense to me, but don't want to make a toxic cocktail of supplements LOL. And am looking for advice from those who have "been thre, done that" to see how you feel about these things.
The multi that my Chiro has given me to try has 2 tabs containing a total of:
350 mg calcium
175 mg magnesium
25 mg ea. of thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin and B12
2 mg of B6 along with a probiotic and digestive enzyme
With one fish oil gel 1000 mg
All made by Good Living Labs.
He told me to add a supplement of 500 mg calcium 250 phosphorus and 250 mg magnesium.
I hate to bother everyone with this, but am running out of options and this is starting to make sense. The calcium/magnesium is supposed to make the back/ legs better? And the fish oil and B's are supposed to help me with my mood? I'm not sure if this mixture will help or hurt my sleep. Of if this is the right path.
I have never been a big supplement guy, and have taken Flinstone's as my vitamin.

I have just started seeing this Chiropractor, and have not built the trust factor.
The folks on these boards have been lifesavers and am hoping to get some good advice here as well.
Thanks in advance!!
Jack
