Price Range for Colonic Irrigation?

I am seriously considering having a professional colonic, but price may be an issue. Does anyone know 'about' how much it would cost? Thanks!

el gato,
Could you describe some of the benefits you have received from getting a colonic done? Thanks.

Re: Price Range for Colonic Irrigation?

first of all if the colonic is done right your entire length of colon will be empty and you will feel much better and your colon will feel lighter. For me doing a colonic on a monthly basis ,I have much more energy and sleep better.I just can't get that clean with an enema no matter how much water I take in. I use an enema between my colonics though, this keeps about half of my colon clean.
I hope that this has been of help to you,for yourself,at least try a colonic.Good luck

Re: Price Range for Colonic Irrigation?

Thanks for the reply el gato.
I have a really low energy level, and feel exhausted all the time. I also deal with a lot of flatulence(gas) problems. I rarely ever get constipated though. But I was hoping that maybe a colonic would give me some more energy and lessen the gas problems.

Conserned male:a colonic irrigation should help you with the energy issue.I have been doing them for years and have found that my energy levels have increased noticeably.By the way I am a 57 year old male with no medical problems except a little over weight.
If you are looking for a colon theripist, look in the yellow pages under colon hydrotherapy.Good luck and keep posted.

Re: Price Range for Colonic Irrigation?

Thanks el gato,
There are some places around my way that do colonics. I'm going to check the places out. I'm just a little anxious about the process. When you're having the colinic done, is the colonic therapist in the same room? Do you wear a robe? Thanks.

Re: Price Range for Colonic Irrigation?

Yes the therapist is in the room with you, they have control over the process. Most hterapist that I have used have done too many proceedurs to count and you are just one more, yes you are covered by a robe.Your privacy is also thier concern.I suppose that my first colonic was my most anxious one.I have taken hundreds of enemas over my lifetime but the colonic was different, some one else was cleaning my colon this time.Just try to relax and enjoy the experience,it is totally awsome when you are through.Oh yes the entire proceedure take an hour or so.Keep posted.

Re: Price Range for Colonic Irrigation?

I fully Recomend a Colonic as it clear's the entire Colon - They start by inserting a small specium in your anus & then they turn the water on & it flows into the bowel & when You feel full You are at full control to release it. It's a Beautiful thing to do - I have done enemas as well between the sessions of a Colonic & they help as well.

Re: Price Range for Colonic Irrigation?

In Southern California they run about $75 a pop. And, that's inexpensive in So. Cal! One won't do it. You'll want to get a series of 3, then go on a maintenence program. 1X a month is good. So, it can be a financial issue, but your health is worth every penny.

I always encourage people to use their probiotics when getting regular colonics as they can deplete the healthy flora in the colon.

Be careful not to get "addicted" to the high of colonics. A suprising number of people do. You feel so good and clear and "high" after a session that some people use them inappropriately.

These days, I don't do them but instead opt to just keep my colon clean in other more natural ways. I don't, however think I could do that without first having had a series of colonics.
