Bugs and bacteria don't like salt. Making a strong salty saline in a spray bottle may deter and/or kill them. Hydrogen peroxide sprayed over carpets/bedding may also help. Do a test area first to make sure it doesn't fade the fabric. At 3% it shouldn't.
Natural Ginesis makes a natural enzyme spray disinfectant for mites, fleas, bed bugs, etc. Can be applied to all surfaces including counter tops, fabrics, skin, scalp. It's called Kleen Free Naturally. They also make natural shampoos to combat lice.
