I have and something happen to my eye color...it lighten
I had dark brown eyes and Im just curious to know why my eye color lighten. I asked my chinese herbalist and he said from the increase (chi) energy flow and increase blood flow...
Any one tried acupunture or chinese herbs too?
**Main reason i started chinese herbs and acuputunture is because i had dark circles..
if anyone's read anything about iridology you will know that if it's to be believed, some sort of toxicity in your body can cause eye colour to change.

According to my experience & research..... eye color can change w/ the amount of toxins. Mine went from neon green (toxic) to a bluish gray after going thru heavy detox of heavy metals etc. Since accupressure/accupuncture & herbs work to do the same thing.... color change sounds reasonably to me.
Eye color is also been known to change in the seconds/minutes before death.
Ok so I looked this up and eye color does change. They explain something like this. In order for the eye to change color the eye changes the amount of pigment producing proteins that are made. I did read that cases where something in the environment changes the amount of protein that is made in the eye.
The number one thing said was that aging is the usual cause of color change over time. The iris is made of proteins and when the proteins die the color changes. They can go lighter or may even go darker. A diseased eye will lose all color
