hi! i've been taking both for several months and have not noticed any sensitivity to light--but my guess is that it is the rhodiola because 5htp is a natural amino that our body produces anyway--both supps increase serotonin levels and work very well for depression--is that why you are taking them? (not tryin to be nosy!). rhodiola is an adaptogen that is just as beneficial as ginseng--i'd look at the side effects of that, but i've never read that was a side effect. could be. take care, robin
licorice will also help the adrenals--i've read it is the best herb for that but it can increase your b/p, so if you have a high b/p--ask your dr.-- have you read the book "adrenal fatigue, the 21st century stress syndrome" by james l. wilson phd? i highly recommend it!
