feeling sick on detox

Hi everyone,
I've been using Heel's detox kit and I've been extremely tired (sleeping most of the day) and I've also felt very lightheaded and dizzy. Has anyone else experienced this while detoxing? My dr. wanted me to detox b/c I was developing food allergies and a rash on my hands. Does anyone know why I would have developed food allergies?...is it b/c of a leaky gut? Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: feeling sick on detox

when I have done cleanses, I find that breaking the poisons loose, I feel aweful. I for myself, do something to cleanse (detox) plenty of fluids, hemorrhoid cream, and fiber, capsules, or the powder, (I find the tablets come out like they go in)
if I am trying to get rid of stuff and I don't have the fiber to carry it out of my system then I start to absorb back into me what i have worked so hard to get out.
That has been my experience, it is rough when getting rid of poisons.
oh and I love a skin brush (lymph brush) because when it is coming out of the rest of it it also comes out of my pores. so keeping my skin clean of toxic sweat, and brushing helps so much for me.

When detoxing and you develop symptoms, such as you are describing, it is called a Herxheimer reaction. This is when a large amount of toxins are released into the body. As the bacteria "dies off" your body then responds to this sluffing off of toxins. This is not a bad thing ... if you can ride it out. I think the previous poster gave you some suggestions as well.
