DMSO is a by-product of the wood industry. It is one of those things routinely used in every other country other than the US due to the fact that the Billion dollar Pharma industry cannot get a patent on it (& therefore cannot make them more billions). It is used mainly on horses and by athletes. It can carry other drugs across the skin membrane with it (acting like a IV would without penetrating the skin). It works as a topical analgesic, a painkiller for muscle aches and pains. It works as a anti-inflammatory, for rheumatoid arthritis, chronic low back inflammatory like symptoms, silicon immunity toxicity syndromes, & any kind of autoimmune process. It carries oxygen with it across the membrane (so would indicate to me that it could heal, it has in studies & on people in other countries). It has been given IV (several IV sessions) to some people with fibromalgia and severe arthritis and cured them completely. The side effects are a nasty garlicy taste in your mouth and a possible head ache, there are no dangerous side effects. So has anyone tried this? I will be trying it in the next few days, I have severe, debilitating pain due to complications of a compressed nerve in my lower back. I need surgery on my back, PT and the chiropractor has made me WORSE. I was a gymnast & coach but the injury was due to a big needle in the back that missed (childbirth) & auto accidents. I would like to know if anyone has tried it and what was the outcome. Thanks a bunch!
