N-Acetyl-Cysteine vitamin for trichotillomania

I have been doing alot of research on trich cause I'm about sick of it. I came across something about a doctor in minnesota using N-Acetyl-Cysteine to help people with hair pulling. I was just wondering if anyone has tried out the vitamin for trich?.

Re: N-Acetyl-Cysteine vitamin for trichotillomania

If you're in MN, talk to Shapiro Med, they can probably advice you.

NAC is good for a lot of things, why not buy a couple of jars and try it out. I guess finding the optimal dosage is the key here. Also combining NAC-therapy with other "therapies" like meditation, frequent aerobics and for instance cognitive behavioral therapy.

Godspeed.
