how much is too much tryptophan???
Needing some help here. Have been on various supplements for two years while in withdrawal from Effexor still. My question is when do I know how much is too much tryptophan??? I have been taking 2500 mg for over a year now as prescribed by my homeopath but I don't see her anymore...trying to save $$$. I just don't want to be doing my body and more harm than good right now. And sometimes I wonder if my symptoms are still withdrawal related or taking too much tryptophan??
Also I've read that tryptophan creates niacin and too much niacin could be a bad thing??
