Recommendation for a good multi-vitamin Hi everyone, I am looking for a recommendation for a good multi-vitamin for women. I would prefer not to buy one of the "regular" ones from the drugstore. I am more interested in brands like New Chapter, Super Nutritionals, etc. that you would buy from a health food store. Thanks, Mstic1 |
Re: Recommendation for a good multi-vitamin New Chapter is a great brand and they have a decent Women's multi, but it does have soy and some herbs that are supposed to help keep hormones level, but unless you have issues with that, I feel like you should only take what you need. Actually, it contains vitex which for women with issues like pcos, can make things worse. Rainbow Light is a great brand that makes a Women's Once Daily - and it is food-based and just a high quality product. You should be able to get it at any health food store. |
Re: Recommendation for a good multi-vitamin Thanks lulu - I will check those out :) |
Re: Recommendation for a good multi-vitamin I second food-based multi's. |
Re: Recommendation for a good multi-vitamin I'm taking a liquid multi-vitamin formulated for Women, "Nutri MULTI for women" is the name of the product and it is made by NAKA Herbs. It comes in a 900ml bottle; costs around CAD$22. I showed it to my naturopath to review the list of ingredients, she said this was a great product to use. I take 2 tablespoons every day, the taste isn't bad either. |
