Sames on prescription

Has anyone had experiences of so called SAMES tryptophan medication.Just read Susan Clarkes amazing book'What Really Works In Natural Health' and apparently conventional pharma does a product called Tosylate and also theres another called Butanedisulfonate. Not sure how to proceed with my gp who rejected my requests for 5htp on prescription(not in the book),I reasoned that as 5htp works for me as good as conventional ssri's,why not get them on a guaranteed, regular basis?but no!came the reply confirming that conventional medicine is mostly about profiting from our ailments instead of enabling us to take charge of ourselves.Twas ever thus I guess.

Any feed back gratefully welcome.

Re: Sames on prescription

Not sure what your asking about? What the SAMES? SAM-E? Did you do a brower search of: tryptophan, Tosylate, 5htp and Butanedisulfonate?

5-hydroxy-tryptophan is in 5htp. Regular use of 5 HTP could lead to reduce sex drive or libido.
