probiotics.

Does anyone know if taking probiotics can cause fatigue? I have m.e and fibromyalgia and since starting to take these my fatigue has gotten worse. Any ideas?

Re: probiotics.

It could cause it..

Personally i have taken probiotic cultures found in yogurt.. they never make me feel anything...

If the problem persists try stopping the intake for couple of days and then you will get a better idea..

Re: probiotics.

My experience is, probiotics can do wierd things to the immune system. They can also be very helpful. If I were you, I would try another brand or try one with a higher/lower amount of bacteria. Or try one with mixed bacteria.

Re: probiotics.

Having Candida can make you feel tired. Probiotics are the "good" bacteria. I have also felt extra tired when starting on probiotics because my body is fighting off the Candida. I try to remember to use a probiotic on a regular basis.
