Are you looking for something for anxiety or depression or something else?

If anxiety, you could try: Valerian root, Calms Forte, Gaba, L'Tryptophan, L'Theanine.

All the best!

I personally wouldn't try Kava Kava. Around 10 years ago, I learned that it can cause liver damage. I don't know how true that is though.

You may try Alprazolam since it is a generic name of Xanax. Or just ask for the generic name for sure Pharmacy has all the list where you can choose from.

Hi there are some nice things a person might like to try depending of course on what the xanax is being used for.

A mood elevator might be St. John's wort, skullcap, passion fruit, mother wort, L-theanine if it is not from a green tea source since it is then of poorer quality according to some. Hops, or phellodendron bark tea may be found useful. Some people have found chamomile to be a mild relaxant at night. :)

Kava Kava should never be used in my opinion since there is a warning about it in europe that it has caused not only liver damage but liver failure.

Alprazolam can cause seizure shortness of breath, yellowing eyes and skin, and is likely a problem with liver and lungs.

Prozac can cause uncontrollable shaking, difficulty breathing, hives, rash, swelling, of face throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles, lower legs.

Cymbalta can cause stomach pain, bleeding, itching, yellow eyes, hives, difficulty breathing

Zoloft can cause uncontrollable shaking of part of the body, seizures, irregular heartbeat and abdominal bleeding.
