Hi everyone. I am sick and tired of all of the side effects of anti-depressants and anxiety medications. I quit taking my Zoloft the other day on the advice of my doctor because I had a rare side effect where it was causing me to shrug my shoulders a lot and this shrugging of the shoulders in turn caused me to injure my right shoulder. So anyway, I only have mild to moderate depression and I also have borderline personality disorder. I do fine without a mood stabilizer so that is not an issue. However, I am just wondering what kind of vitamins and supplements can I take to help manage my depression and anxiety?
For anxiety you might try Valerian Root, Calms Forte, Calms or L'Theanine. There are many others as well. For depression, 5HTP is supposed to enhance seratonin levels. I've heard others discuss Sam e also. I imagine if you did some research on alternative remedies you would find a great deal of information.
Best,
Jen

You can try drinking GoChi juice made from wolf berry. It has been shown in human clinical trials that this juice helps to enhance good sleep, feelings of content, happier and calmer.
