Supplements, especially those that contain minerals, can not only interfere with medications, they can cause a fatal interaction.
Each medication has to be checked separately before combining it with another medication or with supplements, or foods or drinks.
For an example, many medications effect the calcium or potassium channels of the heart. So..... it stands to reason that any supplement or food or drink that contains a significant
amount of calcium or potassium could cause an unpleasant interaction with these medications.
