Re: Terrible cold

Have you tried a neti pot? It really does a great job of clearing me out, when I use it. Or, if that's too complicated, sometimes I just spritz saline up my nose.

Re: Terrible cold

Saline products can be great remedies and I'm pretty sure they have no harmful side effects (even for people with high blood pressure). Just make sure you are using a saline brand that is non-medicated. Neti Pots can be helpful, although they are quite messy. I've been using a saline nasal spray brand called NASOSOL. My son's pediatrician actually recommended it to me a few months ago. I've been really satisfied with it.

Re: Terrible cold

hey there.... best solution for sinus..

Warm compresses from hot water bag, towels or commercial warm compresses applied over the pain can relieve pressure.....Add 2 to 3 drops of Eucalyptus Oil to 2 cup of boiling water.Inhale the steam for 10 to 15 minutes.this will give quick relieve from severe sinus pain..........Ginger and lemon tea is also very befitting for severe sinus pain..... good luck

Re: Terrible cold

Following on from the previous message.... I always recommend warm water with honey and lemon. It's not a cure, but it does help.
