| Post nephrectomy with arthritis
Hubby is post radical nephrectomy and has taken arthritis medicine for years and years (osteoarthritis...not rheumatoid). Now they say he has to come off his NSAID as it is toxic to the kidney. He is allergic to Tylenol and there seems to be nothing left to take. He has to have SOMETHING for his arthrits or he will be so "stove up" he won't be able to get around, much less go to work every day (he is very active). Can anyone make suggestions please? His nephrologist wants the PCP to handle this - still waiting on the PCP's input. Just thought I'd see if any of you folks have had this problem too?
