question on natural medicine for lymes

Hi has anyone here taken natural alternative medicine to prevent lymes and then gotten it anyway?

There is nothing to take, prophylactically, to prevent this infection from occurring. You can, however, be careful when walking in woods and such so that you are protected from ticks, but there are other vectors that can transmit lyme; biting flys, gnats, spiders, etc. . . Also, ticks can now be found everywhere, in city parks, etc.

Hi thank-you I did not know that knats and spiders could do it also. I have been bitten by many a knat in my history and furthermore don't really know how to prevent these insects from bothering me. I do not wish to use any product containing deet.
