There is no simple answer, especially when you do not say if he is the only family member w/AD, what about his parents, siblings, what age was the onset? Type 'Alzheimer's + genetics' into 'search' and you'll find a lot of info. The youngest I've heard of was 29, it is not just an old man's disease. People can have it for decades before it even becomes apparent, so there's little need to worry too much if you're still relatively young. You can live quite nicely for a long, long time before it becomes a serious problem.
