I haven't posted for months but since I'm back into the ALZ situation again I'll vent alittle. lol
I first want to say thanks to everyone for giving me advice and helping me identify the ALZ with my mominlaw!
Even my hubby who's Mr. Denial is starting to see things more clearly now. Today mil is huffing around the house because we won't help her wash carpets outside (I have a slight ear infection, don't want to get in the breeze.)
She's gotten worse for wear with her memory. She'll leave laundry in the washer for hours, sometimes days and it'll mold. I had to wash some things and I drained her laundry and set it next to the washer so she could dry it when she got home. She was only gone 2 hours and she got so mad I did this. She constantly puts my laundry aside and it doesn't bother me! She didn't remember she washed it at all so in it went again!
She has these OCD periods where she'll clean anything that's practially not nailed down. She tries to get my hubby and I to help but
it's understood we only clean our own things!
She cooked moldy food all summer when we were away (what I wouldn't do for another plane ticket home
lol). I'm always checking dates and things! Another thing is the crankiness. Is this common in early onset? I mean she's irritable and throws a tantrum about the weirdest things. I didn't say goodbye to my hubby's family as they left and she just went on a tangent. I get blamed for all the stuff that happens, honestly none of it makes sense!
