Just whining here.
MIL is still in the hospital. Don't know what's going on with that yet. They did pull 30 pounds of fluid out of her in three days. She's diabetic and her leg is not good. Her ankle is black. I don't want to tell her that she's on the surgical floor. I think it's a good possibility that they may amputate her foot which would put her in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. She weighs about 400 lbs. She's getting really forgetful. I'm hoping she's not heading in the same direction as my dad with AD.
My health is not so good now. I'm heading down a path I've been down before and it's not easy. My thyroid is freaking out again. I have something called Hashimoto's Disease. It's flaring up and attacking my thyroid again. So here we go with experimentations on medications and dosages. The last time I went through this, it took more than a year to get my meds right.
And my son's guinea pig Sammy died. We had him for almost 7 years. We really miss him.
Well, I'm off to visit my MIL now that I've laid out my woes to you. So sorry but now you understand why I'm not posting much lately.
Love, Barb
