Hello.. I just wanted to share my lil moment of happiness.. hope nobody minds

So my grandmother is in a nursing home.. 2 years with Alzheimers. she's been doing really bad for a while now. About 3 weeks ago, she was at death's door.. didn't wanna eat, just totally gave up. They were talking to us about putting her in hospice. Well, about a week later I mentioned putting her on Namenda.. just grasping at straws. They did it. They also switched her antidepressants. Now she makes funny faces, talks to us, tries to get out of her chair. She was like that for a couple of weeks. Today, my mother came home from seeing her & jumped in the door. She was so excited, my grandmother called her by name, asked her what she was having for supper, and offered to come home and help her! She also had her teeth in, which she hasn't for weeks now. Now I know she's gonna be up and down, and I shouldn't get my hopes up, but it just has made me so happy to see her like this

The lady was at death's door.. now she's sooooo much better.. she even eats almost all her supper..'
