Typical

Called my brother twice to see if they were having a family meal for Thanksgiving. My SO and I had planned a short 4 day trip to get away. First Bro said he's check and get back. Never called. I called again. Said he's check with his wife, then changed the subject. Never called. At that point I talked to SO, we cancelled our trip and planned a day out with Mom. Found a place serving a T-Day buffet. I was not going to beg someone else in the family to do something and not going to let her sit alone.

So at 7 a.m. my phone rings. Mom got a call at 9:00 last night. Brother is having a meal and coming to get her.

This is typical. And it's reason one why I will be re-writing every beneficiary form I have to exclude Brother. I'm sick of it. I'm done.
