My Mom who suffers from Alz, probably at stage 6, lives with my Dad. There is always an aide taking care of them night/day. I was advised to order a hospital bed on days that she may need to be fed in bed and also the rails would help her stay in bed. This may sound kind of cruel but are there any beds that are designed like a crib to keep her safely in? She already fell once and needed stitches. There is a good chance that regular rails on a hospital bed will not keep Mom from trying to get out of bed on her own.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
