Re: Dear ladies, I need a sympathetic ear.......

I'm home. I can explain it all in three letters..... UTI!!!!!! We got the diagnosis about 1:30 this afternoon The meeting was productive. Her meds have been adjusted. The antibiotic should be there tonight or in the morning. If the sitter and facility follow up on the suggestions that were brain stormed I think it will make a difference. I think treating the UTI will do the most.

I'm still working on the sister communication problem. We will see where that goes. For now it's a little better.

I drove 7 hours in the last two days through the remains of hurricane Fay. I need to get my shoulders out of my ears, hope the finger prints fade from the steering wheel, and get my suitcase out of the car, but I wanted to let you all know that hopefully life will be better after today

Love, deb

Re: Dear ladies, I need a sympathetic ear.......

Well thank God it was diagnosed!!

Now maybe your mom (and dad) can get some well needed rest and piece of mind.

That FAY just gets around doesn't she? Sorry you had to drive in it...it got us for about 2 days then made its way up the coast to my son's where they had rain for 3 days straight, then to my best friend in Mobile and then on to you.

I'm glad you got back to us all as soon as you did...I'm sure I'm not the only one had you on our mind today.

Welcome home. Mission accomplished. (for now)

Now dry yourself off with our magic towel and sit back and relax awhile.

Love, Meg

Re: Dear ladies, I need a sympathetic ear.......

Those UTI's are wicked things..........aren't they? So glad your home safe and sound. I can relate to the "shoulders out of your ears". So funny!!!!!!!
Relax and sleep well.

Re: Dear ladies, I need a sympathetic ear.......

Relax??? Not an hour after I got home I received e-mail from my sister. Mom has a painful lump in her remaining breast. Her last painful lump lead to a modified radical mastectomy and chemo. Is there ever a time you just get to relax? We will cross whatever bridge that brings in it's time. My sister is making her an appointment for an exam and mammography tomorrow.....

Say a prayer please....

love, deb

Dear Deb, I'm here saying a prayer also. No, I don't think there is any time to relax. Not for you lately. Thinking of you.
