Just wanted to start a thread to say I'm so happy for the news about your mom, you must be so relieved!!!! I hope all goes well also for the mammogram.....thank god for blessings huh? You have more than enough to deal with and so does your mom!

Glad someone started this thread. Horray, for Debs good news!!!! Boy, when it rains it pours on you girl. But this time its good news. I've been caregiving for about 20 years. Started with my Dad and worked through Gram and Grandpa. Now Mom. I've got to give you a big pat on the back for caring for both parents at a time. Mine were spread out over the years. Not sure how I could handle two.

Thank you Thank you all!!!! Even better news.... when I called Mom this afternoon she was NOT crying. She made two off handed comments about going home but then laughed at my funny story... again! I just hope we have turned, if not a corner, maybe a little bend in the road. I'm still packing all my towels for the weekend

Its wonderful to get a break isnt it??? One thing I have learned about this illness, is that tomorrow can be completely different from today.....so you have to grab those good days whenever you can, and suck the life out of them!!!!!!
