Re: how long can you go without eating or drinking

The human body can survive for a month or more without food because it will use what is stored.... fat, muscle tussue, or anything else in the body.... to replace the food. So the length of time depends on the body mass and the physical shape you are in. Liquids are another matter. You do need water to survive very long. Dehydration sets in quickly and it is only a few days before dealth. Urination, sweat, and tears will decrease the time.

Rule of thumb are the 3's. 3 minutes without air, 3 days without water, 30 days without food.

Is there a reason for your question?

Love, deb
