| dementia fatigue
My mother in law is 82.She was diagnosed with demintia.The problem we are having is she is very weak.If you talk to her you can hardley hear her speak.She can hardley walk and she sleeeps alot.She lost 6 pounds in about 6 weeks.She eats every thing you give her and yet she lost weight.Does dementia make you weak.She will sleep from 8 pm til 9 am eat breakfast which takes her a couple hours to do and lay down til you make her get up.Is this normal.She was on 10mg predisone and doing good,the reduced it to 5mg.Wondering could this have effect.She has a dr appt.friday and we will ask this question.Any help with tis would be greatly appreciated.
