Dad attended his first Caregiver Support Group Meeting. That hour and half meeting did a world of good for him. He came home with a little spring in his step and a little weight off his shoulders. He met a lot of wonderful people and got the chance to share his story and listen to others stories. He is looking forward to the next meeting. He loved it!!
It was a big step for him to do this.
That is wonderful Pauline. It is so nice to have support and someone that truly understand what you are going through. I get that here. HIP HIP HORRAY for Dad. We all know talking about our LO's helps us in so many ways. He made a very hard decision and I'm sure it wasn't easy for him. He'll be so much better now that he has someone who understands and can relate to his feelings.
