Yes. The only experience I have with ALS is with my father. If you havn't read any of my posts. I took care of him every day for two years. My father had foor drop soon after he was diagnosed. Both feet were affected. The docs made him leg braces to keep his feet in the upright position. He could still walk and drive fine at that point. But, his feet were alnmost completly paralyzed. The braces he wore helped him a great deal. It kept him driving and walking for 18 months. As with ankle instability, his ankles were weak. His leg braces helped with that.
