Hello everyone ,
I m 18 years old , I had Achilles tendon surgery when i was only 5 years old . I used to walk on my toes . The surgery made my left leg 100% normal but my right leg still lack the lengthen . Now i m noticing that my hamstring are also short. I bend my knee a little while walking . I m planning to surgery my right tendon Achilles with my both hamstrings . I have not gone to doctor yet.
I m living in hot temperature area . The temperature may go up to 45c . My mom is saying to do the surgery at winter because my leg will be in full casts and i will feel discomfort at hot temperature .
My question : Should i do the surgery at summer or winter? Which one will give me best result and better healing . I don't care about comfort but the point is that is there any advantages in winter or summer temperature for tendon and hamstring lengthening?
Edit: Sorry i put the thread in wrong place
i m new here .
