does anemia ever completly go away.

hi does anyone know if it ever stopes i have been anemic for so long now my mom was anemic and our dr. said it is usually inherited. i take my iron that he has prescribed and it seems like i just cant get my iron up to a decent level. i stay so tired. but i dont sleep good either. so i guess that could affect it. just wondering if anyone else has the same problem. thanks susan kay

Anemia is a symptom of a disease. If the disease is placed into remission, then the symptoms of anemia will improve. Anemia of chronic disease will usually reflect whether a disease is getting worse or better. So the bottom line is that if treated properly, anemia symptoms will get better and will not cause problems.
