Procrit Injection
My HMB was 8.7 when i first starting my iron infusions. After about 12 treatments and 1 injection of PROCRIT on my last visit,my HMB went up to 12.7! My body was not responding to the iron iv's and my hematologist was not sure why? Procrit is a booster or jump start for the immune system.I received the 1 injection and within a month, without any additional iron treatments,my hmb level had raised 4 points. I do have more testing to be done yet we are happy with this result!

Do they know why you were so low on hemoglobin and iron? I know Procrit does boost red cell production, which would account for the higher hemoglobin. I bet you feel worlds better at 12.7 than at 8. I have hemolytic anemia and sometimes my hemoglobin goes low, and it makes me feel awful.
