Re: What does a low RBC, AUTO level mean?
I'm not sure what the "AUTO" portion of this test means--probably that it was an automated count (computer) versus a human actually counting the red blood cells. Anyway, a low RBC is one indicator of anemia. They don't usually declare you anemic, though, unless your RBCs are low along with your hematocrit and hemoglobin. Do you have those numbers?
