hemoglobin levels of 9.3 are seriously deficient in iron stores. you should be receiving iv iron as well as taking oral iron. your doctor may also wat to check for polyps in the uterus, bleeding in the colon or any other surronding area for excessive blood loss. make sure that you are eating iron rich foods taking oral iron. in 2005 I nearly passed out from hemoglobin levels at 9.3. there is not enough blood reaching up to the brain. becarful and take care
I had a 9.1 recently due to excessive menstral bleeding from uterine hyperplasia,I felt terrible, tired, and my heart was racing. Anyhow once the bleeding was under control my levels returned to normal in a short time. I was taking iron supplements 3 times a day and eating alot of iron rich foods! The main thing is finding out what is causing the deficiency and correcting the problem.
