My hemoglobin is 8.3. Two months ago it was 12. Why might I have dropped so quickly? (I haven't had a period in over 2 years so it can't be that).

Have you been ill ~ dehydrated ~ that will make a difference between in your reb blood cell count, like the flu or something.

For a drop that quickly, you need to look at sources of bleeding. Stomach, colon, heavy menstrual flow, etc.

I have Crohn's Disease but I had an ileal resection 6 months ago and have felt better than ever so I didn't think that it was that but who knows...
