Re: new counts

Uniondivia--Congrats! You are looking pretty great right now, only mildly anemia verses life threatening. I think that's something to celebrate!!! Hope that you are feeling better with your symptoms. Once I hit the 10 Hgb mark symptoms seemed to begin to get better from there on up.

So, you too have more than one reason for your anemia it looks like. I also have more than one reason, maybe a few when I think about it. Many times we think that it is only periods because that is ~their focus~ (THE WHITE COATS lol), and it ends up being a little more complicated for some of us.

I guess you are now considering your options for fibroids. I had 7 polyps removed and an ablation, but I have no experience with fibroids. Although, my mom had a "H" due to a grapefruit size fibroid tumor. Of course this was a long time ago, and they thought that if she waited long enough that she could avoid the "H," but it was inevitable. When she finally went in they had to transfuse her before surgery. But things work out in the end. Do you have a large amount of blood loss monthly due to fibroids? When everything is taken care of, your blood levels ought to look remarkable!!! And......you should feel so much better too. I wish you the best of luck and keep us posted on your results. Re: new counts

YES... I do feel better, but have bouts of exhaustion...sigh

I am still receiving b12 shots as well.... I don't have ferritin or b12 levels yet, but I suspect they are still low
