why do i need to check my bone marrow if i have iron-defiency anenmia

Did your doctor suggest that you do this? Usually, with anemia, it is to see what is happening in the bone marrow. If you are producing red blood cells or not and a slew of other things that I don't know much about. The so called "gold standard" tell all, is the BMB. FLFLOWERGIRL
