Extreme Exhaustion and Shortness of Breath During Menstruation
I am 20 years old, have always have pretty severe cramps during my period and very severe PMS. The cramps haven't gotten worse but recently I've noticed that as soon as I start bleeding, like the second I do (its very sudden), I become extremely exhausted, chilled, short of breath and bloated. I don't know why its suddenly getting so bad. This one is the worst one yet. I just started bleeding about half hour ago and as soon as I did I become pale, no longer hungry, cold, bloated, crampy, started panting and became very tired as if I had just run a marathon. Is this an iron deficiency? Would it come on so quickly? I will take vitamins everyday and see if it helps and if it persists I'll go to the doctor. Does anyone else have any information? The only post I saw on this only had women aged 40+ posting, saying that it had suddenly started for them but they were unsure why. And also it makes my IBS act up considerably.
