Venofer Injection
Has anyone had the injection vs. the infusion?

My doc is saying that it is too risky, but I can't find anything online that says that it is any more risk than the slow drip infusion.

I don't know about reactions to the injection, but both my GP and hematologist said that the injections are very painful and can cause a lot of scarring.
The infusion is suppose to be much easier to handle.
