A natural iron supplement that works

NU-LIFE HEMOPLEX

I received my blood test results today and am so happy that i would like to share a product i used to increase my blood levels. Six months ago i was diagnosed with severe anemia, the doctor said i needed transfusions. My hemoglobin was at 88 and my ferratin was too low for the lab to measure, i refused the transfusion and the iron pills as they just seemed to cause me more harm than good. I instead started nu-life hemoplex from the healthstore and 2 tbsp of blackstrap molasses which is loaded with iron.
Today my hemoglobin is at 144 and ferratin at 17, my doctor was shocked.
Please try this product there are no side effects at all.

I use hema-plex . So far I like it but haven't got my levels checked. I went from taking 325 mgs of iron a day down to the one a day 85mg slow release. Praying it doesn't kill my numbers to bad.

Re: A natural iron supplement that works

I take the hemoplex (vitamin/mineral supplement with other factors) it says 45mg of iron does not say slow release, i took 3 to 4 a day, and also two tablespoons of blackstrap molasses a day (read up on it is loaded with iron). I am so pleased with my results, i have my appetite back the thought of food used to annoy me, lol i lost a lot of weight was not able to maintain and it was scary. I also ate ice cubes for two ears, no more ice cubes for me, my hair is growing again and i am not always dragging myself. I hope you have the same results

Re: A natural iron supplement that works

I can relate on the ice thing. I was eating tons maybe like 8 64oz of nothing but ice a day. It was terrible. I regained my appetite after a couple of months of taking the iron that my Dr. gave me. But it got expensive and I wasn't seeing the results that I wanted. I also got unsulphured molasses from the health food store but haven't been using it. I was using a couple tablespoons a day. I want to see just what the iron can do alone. Which reminds me I need to make my appointment today .

Oh my gosh yes, lots of chipped teeth. I still have a tooth break every now and then and I know it's a result of the ice habit. So glad I got rid of it.

I agree. I chewed ice for about a year! Strange how it all seemed normal to be then! Lol.

Wow I'm learning a lot from you all! I stopped the ice thing almost immediately after taking the prescribed iron tablets from my doc in Nov last year.

Mine quite pretty fast to actually. Ice was like an addiction for me. I HAD to have it. Everyday, even if I knew that I wasn't going to eat it I had to have it in the freezer to know and feel relaxed, I had my ice. I seriously was an addict. I will never forget the day, I grabbed my cup and started crunching away on my ice, it tasted gross. I dumped it out and got another one, same thing. What?!?! I even went to the gas station and told them something was wrong with their ice and filled my cup up twice same thing. I knew right then the iron was doing it's job. I haven't looked back. I can't chew ice and I can't stand when people do it around me. I am sure my crunching put my family through hell. I remember their looks and cringes and I didn't care. LOL.

Re: A natural iron supplement that works

Hey worry good to see you! I am sorry about the computer issues! The last time I had my numbers checked after taking this for about a month my ferritin was up to a 33. I need to get back in and check numbers it's been a couple months.

I am taking the slow release Hemaplex, I love it so far. They have 2 different kinds one is just the regular and one is the slow release. Since we can only absorb so much iron at once I figured slower release over the day would be better then one huge dose at once and my body getting rid of the extra. I am going to make an appointment today and get my labs done so I can see for sure where I'm at.

Hi, Would you think nu life Hemoplex and theBlack molasses may work when liquid iron did not? I am really trying to avoid Iron infusions. I have not been very happy with some things I have read about them. Thank you!

I think you should give it a shot Shirley, I have read tons of great things on the molasses alone just make sure it's unsulphured. Big difference between the two. Try it for a month, see how you do? Can't hurt.

Re: A natural iron supplement that works

I have found myself getting thirsty for Coldwater, cold drinks, but I haven't yet thought about eating ice. Does that sound a lot like the point you get when you want ice?

What is really weird for me, I knew I needed ice. Not just any ice. The soft crunchy little airy type ice that you get in the hospital. I found a gas station that sold exactly that kind of ice. Some people don't get picas at all, some do. I had to have mine with a little bit of soda to give it a flavor. It could be you are getting to that point. I hope your not, it's the worst.

Natural Food stores...so they sell food as well. I think that is the difference between them and GNC. Also you can try searching it and buy it online too and maybe some natural food stores in your area. They are bound to have it, it's good stuff.!

The ice oh just thinking about it now makes my mouth water but I know if I tried crunching it now it would make me cringe. I could not live without the stuff! Brown sugary flavored ice, nom nom!
