These have been my blood results for over a year give or take a few numbers. My GP says everything is fine. I am so sick, mouth sores, trouble swallowing, sore lips, vision in and out, insomnia, extreme fatigue, numbness in hands/feet, intolerance to cold, garbling of words at times. I also was diagosed with epilepsy 3 years ago after 1 seizure. No history. I am on anti seizure medication, and question now, "Do I really need this, or was I just vitamin deficient?" Please someone----take a look at my latest results, I almost want to just drive to the ER, I am so ill.
You are anemic. Your ferritin is way to low and with a ferritin that low I can almost guarantee your iron is slipping too. With anemia ferritin is one of the first things to go, then iron, saturation, hemoglobin and hematocrit. It takes months and months to raise that number. You need to be treated for anemia ASAP. Look up the symptoms of low ferritin. Once your hemoglobin reaches the 7's you will end up needing a blood transfusion. You need to find a Dr. to treat this.
With a ferritin that low I can't imagine you are feeling to well. You are iron deficient.
