| Abdominal aortic aneurysm
I recently had an endovascular aneurysm repair. Unfortunately the day after the operation the stent kinked and I had an embolism which stopped the blood flow to my right leg. They cleared the embolism & repaired the kink, but in the process both arteries to the buttocks are now blocked.
I am trying to get information on various problems I am now experiencing:
1) If anyone has had experience of blocked arteries to the buttocks, how quickly does the pain go or how far can you walk before the pain forces you to stop?
2) Since the operation my right leg aches most of the time. This seems to be a muscular ache, has anyone experienced similar problems?
3) My right leg is uncomfortably sensitive from the shin down, but also feels slightly numb. Any fellow sufferers?
