Hey everyone I need some advise or thoughts from some of you who have had or know someone who has had this problem. My Aunt has had two behind her eye fixed(coiled I think) and she has 3 more that they plan on fixing real soon. The last one was done about 2-3 mths ago and she is not doing good. She seemed to be fine right afterwards other than a bad headache. Well she was here visiting the family for a while and when she went back home things went down hill. She takes Paxil and has been for a long time.Well after the surgery they added aspirin,plavix,niacin, pain med for the headache. Anyway she hasn't had an appetite at all and she went 3 days with out taking her Paxil and taking the other med on an empty stomach.( The pharmacy was giving her trouble filling the Paxil) Which as you know you can't stop cold turkey. Well she started feeling bad and the neighbor had to call 911 to her house. She tried to tell the EMT to call the doc that did her brain surgery and they wouldn't listen to her. They zapped her with haldol and wouldn't listen to anything she was trying to tell her. They thought she was on drugs or something. Well she stayed in the hospital for a few days. The doc that did the surgery is in a different town and the hospital that she was at didn't act like they cared about the brain stuff. They said that her potassium was so low that she was going into adrenal failure. Anyway she hasn't been the same since. She is extremely aggitated and her anxiety is thru the roof. She is convinced that there is a meth lab in her neighborhood and they have her phone line tapped because it is clicking. She won't listen when you try to convince her over the phone. She is not herself at all and I don't know what the problem is. I mean its obvious of course that the Paxil is not doing its job but at this point it would be really scarey to try and come off of it right now. She is 5 hours from me and doesn't have much support at home. Could this be something brain or surgery related? Now she is saying that God has healed her and she wants the doc to do another MRA. One minute she is going to have the next surgery and the next she's not. She is scheduled for the next one around the 5th of Dec. I believe. I hope I haven't rambeled too much. I would love to hear yall's thoughts. Thank you so much.
